QLD Garden Show 2026

Following the success of the QLD Garden Show’s 40th Anniversary Feature Garden in 2024, BKR Landscape Construction returned to Nambour Showgrounds for the 2026 event. Working alongside Melbourne-based landscape designer Paul Pritchard, Shapescaper, Garden Edging Solutions and The Epic Gardener, BKR was involved in transforming the design from a blank site into a completed garden display.

Designed by Paul Pritchard, the garden showcased a considered combination of structural elements, natural materials, planting and sculpture. BKR undertook the site preparation, construction and installation, bringing the various elements together within a tight timeframe.

The finished landscape featured sweeping corten steel forms, curved timber seating, gravel pathways, limestone steppers, turf, mature trees and layered planting. The bold lines of the corten steel provided structure and definition, while the softer planting and natural materials created balance and a relaxed, inviting atmosphere.

Sculptural kangaroos from Henhouse Outdoor Art, who were also exhibiting at the show, added a distinctive and playful element to the garden and complemented the overall outdoor setting.

The display was made possible through the contribution of several industry suppliers. Shapescaper provided the corten steel and curved timber seating, The Epic Gardener supplied the mature feature trees, Nuway supplied the soil, gravel and limestone steppers, Plant Connections supplied the plants, and The Turf Shed supplied the turf.

For BKR, the project was an opportunity to showcase our landscape construction expertise in a show environment while working alongside a talented group of designers, suppliers and creative businesses. The result was a cohesive landscape that demonstrated how considered design, quality materials and skilled construction can come together to create a memorable outdoor space.

BKR Landscape Construction was proud to return to the QLD Garden Show and contribute to another successful feature project, celebrating the people, products and craftsmanship that continue to shape the landscaping and outdoor industry.
